BLITZ Lite
Compare model answers, repeat a prompt under a named condition, keep the full run record, and ask a second model to inspect the first response.
Built for curious consumers and independent researchers who want a small, inspectable tool without bundled model weights or a cloud account.
Compare without a lab setup
Select up to three models, submit the same prompt, and inspect the answers together. Named experiments repeat the same input without prior conversation turns so each trial begins from a clean prompt.
- Chat and multi-model comparison
- One to five repeated trials per model
- Each result saved with its own run and event identifiers
Second-model reviewer and verifier
After a primary answer completes, an optional verifier checks its claims and an optional reviewer critiques omissions, contradictions, unsupported leaps, and overconfidence.
- Choose separate models for answer, verifier, and reviewer
- Supply evidence text for claim-to-source checks
- Review notes are stored separately from the primary answer
Limits: A second model can repeat an error or add a new one. Without supplied sources, it cannot establish external facts. This feature reduces some risk but does not guarantee accuracy.
Metadata and conversation records
Every event retains the prompt, response, provider, endpoint, model, experiment name, replicate number, status, timestamps, requested context, and provider-returned fields.
- Input/output tokens, timing, speed, load time, and finish reason when supplied
- Daily append-only JSONL files
- Markdown, CSV, and JSONL export options
Unavailable values remain blank. Context size is shown as the requested setting, not a fabricated utilization meter.
Small by design
The package contains a Python/Tkinter application and documentation. It does not include Python, model runtimes, or model weights. Install the provider separately and use models already on your device.
- Python 3.10+ with Tcl/Tk
- Ollama local API or LM Studio local OpenAI-compatible API
- No bundled database service or third-party Python packages
Local records, visible data flow
Settings and captures remain in %LOCALAPPDATA%\NuAegis\BLITZ Lite. There are no accounts, analytics, telemetry, sync, automatic updates, MCP tools, shell access, or code execution.
A non-local endpoint requires confirmation before BLITZ Lite sends the prompt, prior conversation context, or supplied evidence to it. Provider privacy rules then apply.
Local-first: the publisher does not receive prompts or captures. Model requests go to the endpoint displayed in the app.
Use it in minutes
- Install Python and Ollama or LM Studio.
- Start the model provider and install a model.
- Launch
START_BLITZ_LITE.bat. - Find models, select a model, enter a prompt, and run.
- Open History and Exports to inspect or export your records.
